Respecting the market demand and to overcome risks, the organisation has strategically shifted the products mix towards more value added products including functional fibres.The market has responded positively to this strategic transformation in our product portfolio.

Product Stewardship

We follow good practices of marketing communications viz., ICC code of conduct and other voluntary or mandatory advertising guidelines issued by local authorities. Incidents of non-compliance with regulations and voluntary codes concerning marketing communications, advertising, promotion and sponsorship continue to be nil in the reporting period. As a part of compliance, if a certain product is banned in region, we do not sell that product in that region and this compliance is an important element of OEKO-TEX certification.

Further, we also performed life cycle analysis of two of our products – RadianzaTM and DurashineTM to evaluate final garment’s environmental impact. We presented the result of life cycle analysis to our global customers, so that our customers can make conscious decision. Key highlights of life cycle analysis is given below:
